Kaizers Orchestra

Was talking with Marianne about this the other day - why do I write my blog in english. When I first started off I had this big decision to make; my main reason for choosing english was that I have come over so many links to blogs with things I'd like to read that have turned out to be french, spanish and such that I can't read. Annoying!

On a more general thought, as the world is getting smaller, people are travelling, mixing and blending I can't see that languages serve any other purpose than a hinderance to this. So I guess I'm not very nationalistic..

Anywho, I realized that I only care about real friends reading this blog, not internet friends, and most, if not all of the former speak norwegian and that those are the ones I write for. Not as if there is much of national value in my ramblings, let alone international.

Any thoughts? Jaran?

So - we are going norwegian!

Hallo ;-)

Home, ill

I got a cold at the end of last week and it hit me hard this weekend. Initially you think that it's not that bad, you get time to play computer, watch tv/movies etc.. how wrong was I! Just about the only form of entertainment occupying me the passed 4-5 days have been counting the tiles in my bedroom celing (which is 21). Thankfully I got a lot of sympathy from friends and all my extra-moms, and Tone even came by with Tom & Jerry-biscuits, coke and cartoons :-D

Fever is gone so I'll have a go at work tomorrow and see how it goes.

Local Celebrity Part III

Had almost forgot about this, but as promised here and here, here is finally my interview in electronic form! Actually it was my boss who found the electronic version today, but he's a good sport and actually posted it on our local news portal at work ;-)

Heard about this guy a while back, good to hear he (sort of) made it!
